  Regarding the visit at the Permanent Electoral Authority headquarters, of a delegation composed by young Egyptian future diplomats   The Permanent Electoral Authority informs that Wednesday, May 7, 2014, PEA board received the work visit of a delegation composed by young students, future Egyptian diplomats. During the meeting were presented the projects of the Permanent Electoral Authority regarding the election management system in Romania and the out of country voting process for Romanians living abroad. The delegates had the opportunity to discuss certain aspects of the electoral system in Romania. The 21 future Egyptian diplomats become familiar with the best practices developed by the institution in the last 10 years and the out of country voting mechanism practiced by Romania. PEA representatives were involved in this program as providers of expertise in the electoral process in the context that this project aims to facilitate the transition to democracy and the consolidation of bilateral relations between the two countries. The young future Egyptian diplomats are in Romania for a training program in diplomacy and international affairs, organized by the Romanian Diplomatic Institute in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations Development Program. In addition to theoretical courses, supported by persons with professional experience in international affairs, young people visited institutions such as the Permanent Electoral Authority, the Romanian Parliament and the Superior Council of Magistracy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This project is part of the National Programme of Official Development Assistance (ODA) of Romanian Government and is exclusively funded by ODA budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
